I am Katy and I am a designer, currently located in the Chicagoland area, but doing design for clients everywhere! Popmilk Design is a one stop for all your print design, packaging, industrial/product design, marketing and advertising as well as photo collages and retouching necessities!
I provide a high quality product with one on one communication, fast service and very reasonable prices.
First things first. PopMilk??? You have to explain that one.
Well. it all goes back to when I was a little kid, just coloring with crayons and playing on an Apple II. Its exactly what it sounds like Pop (diet pepsi to be exact) + Milk (2% to be exact) call me weird, but growing up it was me and my dads thing, and when deciding on a name, a name that was really me and meant something, Popmilk just kept well. POPPING up. And thus Popmilk Design was born.
What makes Popmilk different you ask?
First of all, you are dealing with only *ONE designer and not a company that will give you the runaround and utilize multiple designers at different times on your project, which is not only costly, and time consuming, it can lead to a design that isnt cohesive or well put together!
*(ok, sometimes two, for web based needs I bring on a good friend and very talented programmer to help with more intense coding needs to bring you the best website possible in the least amount of time!)
When you contact Popmilk, you get me directly and I will do everything in my power to help you with your needs and if I cant do something for you? Well I know people who can! Need flash and multimedia back end website work? I may not be able to do that myself, but I can start you with some concepts and visual graphics and send you to someone who can make it pop online!
I also stand behind my product, I let my previous work and satisfied customers do the talking for me, I provide a unique mix of experience, creativity, and jane of all trades background!
I use the latest tools and software products to utilize my skills. Most of my logo and stationary design is done in Adobe Illustrator CS3 and my image editing in Photoshop CS3.
As you can see by my portfolio, I like clean designs, but can work with all sorts of styles and while I dont usually create cartoon characters and like to stay in a more clean traditional corporate style for my clientele, I can do whimsy too!
Your designs really are created on a case by case basis.
The final thing that sets me apart? My rates and payment schedule!
Payment is not made up front. %25-50 is made upon agreeing on a concept with the client and the balance upon completion of revisions, so its basically a win-win situation.
